GALLIPOLI NATIONAL PARK
Gelibolu National Park was reserved as a “ Special National Park area “ by Turkish Government in 1973 in the memory of the soldiers who lost their lives during the war of Gallipoly and the preparation for memorial cemetery as a Project completion declared throughout the nation. Alot of artists, historians, engineers have made a great effort to create a memeorial park showing all kinds of steps of the war including the graves, cemeteries, stoas, statues, walking terraces and so on. War items such as clothes, rifles, guns, helmets, daggers, swords, uniforms, war emplacements, field artilleries and so many valuable letters collected all over the regions from special collections, houses and archieves can be seen different museums in the area.
The national park was open to the visitors in 2005 and it is one of the most visited parts of Turkey. Each year about 10 million Turkish people go to the region to see the museums and the war items. The area cover about 33.000 square acres.The area provides a good resting place with natural beauties to the visitors , while walking among the graves which names, ages and birthplaces written on, as well as the tear drops may fallen down after reading or hearing their sad stories.

CANAKKALE WAR MUSEUMS
There are a lot of museums and info centers in the regaion and all of them are worth visiting if anybody is able to have enough time. The groups who have the short time in the area or on the way to Troria, they can stop in Gallipoly and chose to visit one or two main ones. NAVAL WAR MUSEUM
It was open as a Military was museum under the control of Turkish Navy on 18 March , 1954 on the anniversary of the Canakkale Wars and it had a lot of alterations till 2012. The final shape as a modern museum was completed with different sections in 2012. The museum has now a castle, a garden, three different floors with all war weapons and collections all over the area and a Nusrat minelayer ship which did a great job during the war is on display. KABATEPE INFO CENTER The first part was open in 1970 and the second part in 1984. The area is worth visiting and open all the year round where a lot of people can visit each year.
