The lower part of Pergamon  is  the heart of the town where trade facilities have been done. The road,  going up to middle and upper parts of the city,  has a lot of stores on both sides  offfering  attractive goods to the  people worn in different togas  and a big a  peristyll house which was known Attolos home is being  used as a dig house today. The lower agora, center of the commercial facilities, is located here as the main heart of the town with stock exchange since the time of Eumenes II.
